越是和Kami Liddle上課,
越是覺得她是一個商業與藝術能力兼具的女強人,
外型甜美、選曲獨到、創作總有新花樣,
而且workshop的內容總是能推陳出新,
用很簡易的方式給與學生新的創意。

第一天課程內容雖名為找回你的核心肌群,
但其實有很多練習是在建立與身體的連結與覺知,
我非常非常的喜歡,
對我來說,瑜伽、舞蹈、跑步或是其他運動是外顯的形式,
在過程中深度的覺知身體才是最重要的精華。
去年Hawaii Retreat時Kami已經說她最近的目標是「back to the roots」回到根源,
沒想到走得那麼深,好開心!一連六小時學得好過癮!

第二天的重點是步伐與組合動作,
Kami在Hawaii Retreat就已經提出和Jill Parker一樣的觀點:
為什麼Tribal Girls老喜歡站在原地做很困難的層疊動作呢?
在原地不動對她們而言,能量上不流動,形式上也不是跳舞,
所以Jill Parker和Kami都有特別開設與腳步相關的workshop。
Kami的組合動作還是好有她的個人風格,喜歡!

兩天九小時就這樣上完課了,不滿足,
期待再次與她學習!

Day 1: 

Refine Your Technique By Getting Back To The Core: (Kami Liddle)
This workshop's focus is not only to fine-tune your technique, but to refine your movements by connecting to the deep internal muscles in your core. The core is our center and when we move our core, we can move with ease, grace, strength and balance. We will begin with floor exercises to strengthen and activate the core and move onto drilling isolations and advanced combinations that are sure to not only challenge you, but also leave you feeling total body connectivity.

Day 2: 

Fancy Footwork: (Kami Liddle)
This workshop will focus on not only on foot patterns but will cover how to gain balance and grace while traveling across the floor. Several complex foot patterns will be drilled across the floor and when we are comfortable we will build on top of them adding isolations and arm work.
